Cavo is a small harbour situated on the east side of the peninsula of Capo Vita, some eight miles east of Portoferraio. The harbour is relatively shallow, with depths of only 2.5 metres in the approach and 2.0 - 3.0 metres inside. The harbour has a total of 130 berths on pontoons for yachts up to 12 metres. The berths are operated by the #Circolo Nautico CavoCircolo Nautico Cavo yacht club. A few berths are reserved for yachts in transit.
