Islands
This section does not apply for many islands, remove it if this is the case for this particular. You may, however, list ismall islands adjacent to this one or list one or two of its neighbors.
Communication
- Coast Guard - VHF channel 12
See also Crete.
South of the entrance to the port is a sunken breakwater, this is not always easily visible. Do not stray too far south of the end of the quay.
Inside there is 3m depth between a point about midway to the quay on the eastern side, shore side of this point there is a shallow reef (<1m). There is some rubble at the base of the quay in places so deeper draught yachts should consider berthing bows-to.
Berthing
Space is very limited, most (all) berths are occupied by local boats or fishing boats but you may be lucky enough to find a free berth. It might be sensible to anchor outside and come in in a dinghy before coming inside in a yacht.
Moor stern or bows to where space available. Most (all?) berths are occupied by local boats and fishing boats
Marinas & Yacht Clubs
None.
Anchorages
In calm weather it is possible to anchor just to the south of the port, but take care of the sunken breakwater immediately south of the port.
