Tekirdag is a new, commercial harbour on the north shore of the Sea of Marmara in Turkey, 67 miles west of Istanbul and a 72 miles NW of Canakkale in the Dardanelles. There is no provision for yachts in the harbour and visitors here must find a place here alongside the quays wherever they can. It may be necessary to lie alongside a fishing boat at busy times.
