Porto Corallo is a purpose-built marina situated at the town of Villaputzu on the SE coast of Sardinia, about 45 miles north by sea from Cagliari. The town itself is not particularly attractive, but its marina offers a useful stopping-off point en route along the east coast of the island.

If approaching from the south, beware of shallows extending some 250 metres from the coast. From the north, acquaint yourself with the schedule of firing from the range at Capo Lorenzo unless you want the Italian army to use you for target practice! The marina is entered from due south.

Berthing is in the marina of Porto Corallo.

The marina of Porto Corallo offers 380 berths, with water and electricity on the pontoons. Maximum length 20m. Depths in the marina: 3.5 - 5.0 metres. WCs, slipway and travel lift (50T).
Call the marina on VHF channel 09 prior to entering. Telephone: +39 (0)392 38334; E-mail; Opening hours (summer): 0830-1300 and 1500-1900.
Anchorages
The nearest safe anchorage is off the beach at Quirra, about three miles to the north of the marina.
