We are based in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
We had considerable Pacific cruising experience in the 70's and 80's with 3 voyages out into the Pacific from Australia and NZ. Our longest voyage involved sailing from Tasmania to New Zealand and on to Pitcairn Island. We then cruised back to Australia via Tahiti and intervening islands. This was in a 30' boat.
After a long shore based break, our most recent experience was last winter (2010), spent cruising to and then around New Caledonia.
Our boat is a steel 12 metre Van de Stadt Carribean - Honey Bee. She is kept at Cygnet in southern Tasmania.
