Special Florida State Boating Bylaws or Restrictions
- Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission, Recreational Licenses and Permits
- The Legal Requirements of Boating To operate a vessel powered by a motor of 10 horsepower or greater (including PWCs), a person who was born on or after January 1, 1988, must have completed a boater education course approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) or passed an approved equivalency exam.
- Florida Online Boating Safety Course and Exam (1) This boat safety course is user-friendly and self-directed. Study at your own pace; (2) Take the official Florida boating safety Certification Exam. Pay $29.50—one time only, after you pass; (3) When you pass, you will receive your permanent Florida Boating Safety Education I.D. Card by mail.
