The Mexican Navy recently (2010) completed new surveys of the mainland Paicfic coast and Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez).  Paper charts can be obtained from Mexico City, browsed at http://digaohm.semar.gob.mx/imagenes/hidrografia/CATALOGO2013.pdf .  These are vastly superior to the NGA/MIL charts done by US ships at the beginning of the 20th century, using obsolete datum references.
