Solenzara is the first harbour when cruising north from Porto-Vecchio on the E coast of Corsica.

The town is rather dull and very touristy, but it does have the benefit of a medium-sized marina with all the usual facilities. The hinterland has tree-clad mountains terminating in the dramatic peaks of the Aiguilles de Bavella.
