More notes about the marina |
Marina Tribunj is situated immediately E of the town of Tribunj on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, six miles NW of Sibenik and just over a mile W of Vodice. The marina offers a total of 220 berths for yachts up to 25.0 metres in depths of up to 4.0 metres.
Marina radio contact
Call Marina Tribunj on VHF channel 17 prior to entry. Alternatively, telephone or e-mail to enquire about berthing or advance reservations.
Tribunj is sheltered from the west by the small, circular island of Lukovnik and the long, thin island of Logorun. However the passage between Lukovnik and the mainland has depths of less than 2.0 metres in parts and the passage between it and Logorun has barely 3.0 metres. While shallow draft local boats use these passages, they are not recommended for yachts, especially with any swell running. Approach from N and W should be made between Logorun and Tijat island immediately S. There are no dangers in the approach from E and S. The town is easily identified by the church steeple on the top of the island on which the town sits. Access to the marina is between Logorun island and a long breakwater protecting the marina from S.

- A very swish and expensive marina. Be sure that if they put you on the 'transit quay' outside the marina that there are no southerlies forecast - it makes it very unpleasant here as well as being very expensive! --Athene of Lymington 17:08, 30 July 2011 (BST)
