Call on VHF channel 73 before entry.
The headland of Koca Burnu should be given a clearance of least half a mile on the approach from the south as it has dangerous reefs off it. The smaller headland of Küçük Burnu just east of the marina also has a reef extending around 100 metres off. On the approach from north, there is a group of above-water rocks about 0.75 miles NNE of the marina entrance which is marked with an isolated danger mark (at night Fl(2) 10s). There is a further shallow patch 250-300 metres NNW of the marina entrance, with depths over of 3.0 – 4.0 metres. An approach from NE avoids all these dangers.
