The marina is situated at the NE corner of Lakki harbour. The narrow entrance is between the long breakwater to starboard and a short quay to port. Keep over towards the breakwater on entry since the depths shallow towards the quay. Depths in the entrance are 4.0 – 6.0 metres.

Personal experience
- While I know several people who use this facility, and are satisfied, I have no personal experience with either the marina nor the shipyard.--Istioploos
- The marina in general: it is extremely well protected, it is a quick dinghy or scooter ride to town, and they appeared to be continuing work on some of the buildings, including a new group of bathrooms/toilets closer to the boats. They had a new Travel Lift for boats of our size which was MUCH better than the one that lifted us out in Oct. 2009. The woman in charge (Mrs. Konstantinou?) is the wife of the owner (who works in Athens) - and I found that it was essential to deal directly with her to get results. They need fewer and more knowledgeable office people, and more people working outside. They also need carts to carry supplies from cars to boats. Would we recommend the marina? Yes. Nothing is perfect...Lakki is good for supplies and restaurants. -- S/Y Spindrift July 2010
- Evros Leros Marina is still some way from complete, although it has the advantage of having its lift out area and hard standing immediately adjacent to the marina, whereas the boatyard of Agmar Lakki Marina is at the other end of the island --Athene of Lymington 12:48, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
